The Oaks of Pasadena opened its doors in 1981. Since then, we have provided unsurpassed service and amenities for adults age 55 and older who enjoy independent senior living in Pasadena. The Oaks features 86 well-equipped, spacious apartments ranging from studio to one- and two-bedroom units. We also have a separate assisted living home called The Retreat. Both facilities are located on our beautiful 27-acre property that includes an arboretum, gardens, swimming pool and paved walking paths.

There’s never a dull moment at The Oaks of Pasadena, and September is filled with opportunities for residents to stay active, engaged, and connected with friends and neighbors.
This month’s calendar features a wonderful variety of fitness classes, games, outings, educational programs, music, and special events. Residents can enjoy Chair Tai Chi, Exercise Class, Yoga, Water Aerobics, Line Dancing, Bridge, Scrabble, Bingo, Open Game Days, and Needle Arts, along with Paint N’ Sip, Art Appreciation, Music Appreciation, Book Club, and our popular Sunday Matinees.
Music is always a favorite at The Oaks, and September will feature dinner performances by our talented guest pianists Rocky and Matt, along with our Pasadena Community College evening music appreciation program.
And, of course, we’ll celebrate our residents with September birthday celebrations at lunch!
At The Oaks, every day offers something new to learn, enjoy, experience, or share with friends. Whether it’s an exercise class in the morning, a game in the afternoon, live music in the evening, or simply spending time with neighbors, there are plenty of ways to make the most of every day.

Prices
The Oaks of Pasadena independent living apartments are leased on an annual basis, with monthly payments of:
Studio apartment – 480 sq. ft. starting at $4,000 per month
One-bedroom apartment – 740 sq. ft. starting at $5,550 per month
Two-bedroom apartment – 1220 sq. ft. starting at $7,850 per month
Two-bedroom apartment – 1480 sq. ft. starting at $11,100 per month
The Retreat assisted living starts at $7500 per month and is adjusted according to room size and individual care needs.
