The Oaks of Pasadena opened its doors in 1981. Since then, we have provided unsurpassed service and amenities for adults age 55 and older who enjoy independent senior living in Pasadena. The Oaks features 86 well-equipped, spacious apartments ranging from studio to one- and two-bedroom units. We also have a separate assisted living home called The Retreat. Both facilities are located on our beautiful 27-acre property that includes an arboretum, gardens, swimming pool and paved walking paths.

We continue celebrating our 45th year of serving the Pasadena senior community with a Great Gatsby-themed event on July 22 from 5:30 – 7:30 pm. Get ready for an unforgettable evening with hors d’oeuvres, live music and champagne!

Summer is shining at The Oaks, and July brings a lively mix of fitness, creativity, and community fun. Residents can enjoy daily Exercise, Yoga, Chair Tai Chi, Water Aerobics, and our morning Walking Group, along with weekly favorites like Scrabble, Bridge, Needle Arts, and Painting Class.
We’re also celebrating the season with festive Fourth of July activities, musical performances by pianists Rocky and Matt, and a special “Music By The Pool” concert on July 30. Weekend matinees and social gatherings round out a warm, engaging month on our campus.
Prospective residents are invited to join select activities and experience the vibrant lifestyle that makes The Oaks such a special place to call home

It’s a warm, residential setting—combined with compassionate, one‑to‑one support—offering older adults a comforting alternative when living at home is no longer safe or practical.

Prices
The Oaks of Pasadena independent living apartments are leased on an annual basis, with monthly payments of:
Studio apartment – 480 sq. ft. starting at $4,000 per month
One-bedroom apartment – 740 sq. ft. starting at $5,550 per month
Two-bedroom apartment – 1220 sq. ft. starting at $7,850 per month
Two-bedroom apartment – 1480 sq. ft. starting at $11,100 per month
The Retreat assisted living starts at $7500 per month and is adjusted according to room size and individual care needs.
